Evaluation Support Service
Your registration is filed and you have received your registration number - you have successfully registered. However, REACH is not over yet - your dossier may be evaluated by ECHA.
Do you have a procedure in place for this? When do you need to inform or consult the SIEF?
There are two types of evaluation: dossier evaluation and substance evaluation

Dossier evaluation
The joint submission dossier is evaluated on its content. This can be related to the testing proposals which are all checked to ensure that tests are justified and adequate to avoid unnecessary animal testing and costs. Further to this, 5% of all dossiers in a tonnage band will undergo evaluation in form of a compliance check to ensure their compliance with registration requirements. Priority is given here to dossiers with certain characteristics, e.g. dossiers submitted separately, or using a read across approach. |

Substance evaluation
The submitted dossier is checked to ascertain whether the use of the substance constitutes a risk to human health or the environment. |
What does the service offer?
ReachCentrum supports companies in complying with their obligations in both evaluation processes offering in particular communication support and legal advice.
With SIEF communication being one of our core activities, ReachCentrum can support you in organising the work to be done and contacting and informing the SIEF in case ECHA requires additional information to be added to the dossier.
Via our own SIEF communication platform LINKinSIEF we can make the process smooth and easy. The work on the actual registration dossier can be carried out in cooperation with a technical service provider. ReachCentrum has experience and existing contracts with technical service providers and therefore can help you to allocate a service provider and draft contracts, or sub-contract the work on your behalf.
Who can benefit from the service?
The dossier evaluation support can be offered to lead registrants on their own, as well as groups of companies organised in a Consortium or a SIEF Leadership Team.
For the substance evaluation, the support is focused on the individual registrant.
